I find this program the easiest way to get screen caps. Only thing I wish is that there would be more options on the way to draw on the picture. I think it used to be better and has gone down on this point. Still VERY useful. But thats why the 4 stars instead of 5.

Skitch, didnt convince me at first, but I use it more and more, often daily. Being able to annotate photos and screen shots quickly w/o opening another app is great. Having past screen shots show up in Evernotes has proven invaluable. I use it for quick captures on my mac desktop often. Interface makes sense once you understand it. Always fun to see the new goodies they come up with.

The First Beta version of Skitch was far better, but hey, this one pretty much does the job. I don’t need the Evernote sync stuff and would have preferred a lighter / faster / more efficient version...

One star for annoying me with a prompt to review the app. Im a long time user (and customer) of the product but this is so pissing me off. Please stop annoying your customers!

I used the former version of Skitch (1.x) to make a lot of snapshots, easily (1 click) saved in a LOCAL history folder so I can manipulate them later. Now, I need a Evernote account, and have them spread over the internet… While commuting to the office, I cannot work, I have no internet access... Plus, the free version storage capacity is ridiculous, just 60 MB (yeah, not 60 GB, just 60 MB) Why did you guys got a perfect piece of FREE software, removed some of the most interesting parts, and turned it into a NEED-TO-PAY to make it work? I am very eagerly looking for a better snapshot tool, any advice?

Overall, i hate Evernote. Honestly. But Skitch makes it useful. Skitch makes me keep it within my Applications. Skitch made me forget about any other way to deal with my screenshots. Its just that awesome.

I wasnt a fan of the previous version of skitch but I thought it was bearable. But now they really messed things up. After the last update, the app became REALLY slow and, oh, you cant quit it! They disabled Skitch -> Quit Skitch menu! CMD + Q shortcut doesnt work either. The only way to quit the app is to go to Apple -> Force Quit. As I said, the last version was bad but it was usable. But now Im uninstalling it.

I just love it. This one of those simple and precious things none had thought about before, but finally someone did! Awsome way to share ideas, to make simple and fast tutorials, to play pranks with friends and so on. Its about catching the sciene, highlight the object in the picture, put some text and, voilà, its done in seconds. Congratulations to all the team!

Skitch is awesome with its shortcuts. Very productive to share images.

This is a great app which I’ve used since before it was acquired by Evernote. The day video capture is added I will gladly give it five stars.

I can’t give more than two stars if the app annoys me every day with a nag screen that asks for a rating. Here I go.

The developers pursue the same shady practice as many others do which is interrupting the user during work with a "rate this app" dialog box. One Star :(

I used to love this nifty Application before Evernote took it over. Before it used to be simple and even had a cute icon now the ugly icon stays in the dock and cant be hidden - huge annoyance. Also i get bothered by Evernote pop up’s - no i dont like to pay for yet another cloud based service. Bring back the old and simple sketch, evernote i dont need you.

as a developer and CEO of a startup, I use evernote and skitch a lot! I love the connectivity of both and the easy workflow to make screenshots and comment on then, and then being able to share them righ away via several ways. really cool, I don’t understand why people hate this app so much!

On my Linux days I used Shutter which I found feature rich and useful. But the simplicity of Skitch and ease of use and quality has no other rival. I recommend this app to everyone.

Tried a lot of different screenshot tools. For my stuff it´s the most simple and convenient one. Sync with evernote is great. Just stays in my workflow.

Skitch is my favourite screen shot tool on the Mac. It is easy to use and I like the integration with Evernote. I primarily use it to provide feedback to UI designers or show bugs to software developers. As a Evernote Pro user I don’t see any ads or nagging screens obviously.
