It’s great, really helps me give feedback to developers quickly. Everything about it is quick. Import, mark up, export. Done.

Great little app

I use Skitch all the time when I want to make annotations, use arrows, and dress up my images. Without it, life would not be so easy.

This was my absolute favorite screen capture app, and no other screen capture app came even close to its feautres, ease-of-use, etc. (except maybe Snaggit which is not free). Unfortunately, Evernote, the owner of Skitch, had decided to pull its plug, and now it’s on life-support, with no further advancement or support. Now, I am not able to sync properly with Evernote, as I get Sync error message. Without Evernote, it is a simple screen capture app. I can still capture screen, but I need to export the image everytime I capture a screen, which is far more annoying and is far less useful. (I am hoping that Evernote will bring it back)

ruined a great app

you ruined skitch by remoming access to fonts; an inexplicably bonehead thing to do.

Indispensable

One of the most used apps on my Mac. Without it I would be lost. Please do not ever stop supporting this application!

Handy

Handy, for instance when I want to quickly mark up screenshots and send instructions to family.

Great tool, but missing options

Missing options in edit. Still there is nothing better out there.

I downloaded this years ago. I came to this page to remind myself what this app’s capabilities were. I’ve been using Apple’s Screen Saver and Preview to do this stuff. I just used Skitch much quicker and easier. I read comments about saving your work. Just hit export and it gives you choices. I’m not a fan of Evernote, so I just saved my work to my Desktop. It was very easy. I’ll be using Skitch more often now.
