I find the Evernote integration slows it down but I do like the new features that have been added recently.

I use this daily, its super useful for me to screencap something Im working on, annotate it with some arrows and such and fire off a shared URL to my colleagues and contractors. The Evernote integration is useful as Im an avid Evernote addict. So kudos on that. However there are a few things that in my opinion need to be fixed: - I wish I could have the option to not have the icon in my dock and/or my task bar (when you press CMD+Tab to swith apps) I keyboard trigger it and its in my menubar, thats enough really - its slow, I run a two very fast machines for production purposes, SSD based with lots of RAM and this is the slowest app I have, I dont quite know why, its not very responsive - that icon is fugly! - I wish I could change the shortcuts for the capture. Muscle memory still makes me do Shift+CMD+4 every time (even though I have that short cut turned off) so everytime I trigger it, it looks like this Shift+CMD+4 (wait two seconds) Shift+CMD+5. A dream feature would be short video capture, I use Screeny for the video equivalent… I wish I could anotate video the same way I do still captures. That would make life AWESOME!

Its not fancy, but it makes dead easy to take screen shot and lets you highlight stuff. Its on the list of software I install on any new computer.

What a great app. Works perfectly. Super easy to take screen snaps. And the best thing is that I can take snaps in the mac and then use them in my Parallels based windows VM (i use MS Office in windows!). In fact I can even use skitch to take snaps of applications within the parallels VM. Super easy. Great job!

I want to love this app purely for the use of marking up images from evernote, but I cant. The syncing and integration between Evernote and Skitch is really bad and frustating. With two applications that should be working in usinson, they certainly dont make it easy to bring files back and forth. Also, skitch flattened my annotations after I copied and pasted. Now I cant edit 30 mins worth of annotations :(

Before you upgrade past V1.3, make a copy of it so you have all the old incredibly useful features. If you forgot, use your time machine to get the backup. There is only 1 text style. With all the nice fonts available on the mac its incredible that an app would restrict you to one cutesy bubble font. The pop out for tools options is very slow. Come on! They prominently advertise the new PDF editing feature but thats an upgrade for a monthly fee. The blur box tool is nice though. Different brush shapes would be great. round, square, angled. Wish I could add images as layers or paste into the current document. Kinda silly to need something like photoshop just to combine images. Id rather use Skitch for everything but it doesnt have all the essentials.

Great app. I trust evernote will continue to update and refine it. Using it to highlight PDF copies of my note. I have noted the new highlight tool within Evernote (for Mac Os X), but the tool does not stay "on" like it does in the Clearly Add-on, which works great by the way. Overall, I have faith in Evernote and this tool is great now and will surely be amazing soon!

I run a group of developers and this app is fantastic. A very fast and efficient way to work with the team to show issues, comments, and notes on an app they are working on. Fast, easy, totally awesome :)

Its one of those apps that make you wonder how you lived without it for so long!

Round-tripping between Skitch and the Evernote main app leaves something to be desired. Heres the problem, as described by the workflow: 1. Save a PDF in Evernote. (You have one PDF.) 2. Launch Skitch from inside Evernote and make edits to the PDF. (You now have two copies of the PDF. ) 3. Launch Skitch from inside Evernote again and make more edits to the PDF. (Now you have THREE copies of the PDF.) Rinse. Later. Repeat. Each edit adds another copy of the PDF into your main Evernote app. My hope is that the clever boys and girls can do Phil Libin proud, by making it possible to keep ONE copy of the PDF in the Evernote main app, no matter how many time you make edits to it in Skitch.

super useful for clients giving me feedback

I really love this app, especially with the integration in the rest of the evernote family. It brings the screen cap functionality to an entirely different level. From drawing maps, working on application wire frames to edits for graphic designers its a app I use everyday.

I started using Skitch a little while ago and it totally simplified my work flow when it came to taking screenshots for documentation and bug tracking. Its easy to use and offers just what you need to get it done.

Great app for use with ebooks when studying and having to make notes. Everything synced to my phone so I can get revision done on the bus. Overall great build.

Great app for collecting and highlighting handy exerpts from PDFs during research. Easy to navigate, had it up and running usefully within a couple of minutes of checking it out.
